Package of (3) TMB 15ft Proplex 3-Pin DMX Cables, Assembled

Proplex series data cables are built to survive the toughest conditions, yet handle and coil well, again and again and again. They have been exhaustively developed, tested and re-tested. For DMX control runs, these assembled 15 ft cables are sized for common stage, studio, and rental workflows where reliable signal and fast setup matter.

Built for Repeated Setup and Tear-Down

To support demanding production environments, the cable is constructed with 22 AWG (0.34 mm2) tinned, annealed copper stranded conductors (19 x 34) and a Kevlar strength member. A black UV-resistant polyurethane jacket with high-pressure extrusion is designed to hold up to frequent handling while maintaining flexibility for easier coiling.

Signal-Oriented Construction

For noise resistance and consistent data performance, the cable uses a dual-shield design, including an aluminum/mylar inner shield (100% coverage) and a tinned copper braid outer shield (85% coverage). Electrical characteristics include 80 Ohms characteristic impedance, capacitance of 22pf/ft nominal conductor-to-conductor and 41pf/ft nominal conductor-to-shield, and inductance of 0.32 uH/ft nominal.
