The NEW Pathway PWREP Rack-Mount 8-Port DMX Repeater is an opto-splitter designed for clean, reliable DMX512 distribution in permanent installs, touring racks, and venues that need multiple isolated DMX runs from a single source. It enables star-wiring configurations while helping protect consoles, fixtures, and downstream devices from electrical faults and problematic wiring on a branch line.

DMX Distribution for Star-Wired Systems

With 1 DMX512 input, a passive DMX512 thru, and 8 DMX512 outputs, the PWREP makes it easy to feed multiple fixture lines without daisy-chaining long runs. Optical isolation helps keep issues on one output from affecting the rest of the system, improving uptime and simplifying troubleshooting during setup and show operation.

Built for Rack Use and Day-to-Day Reliability

Front-panel 5-pin female XLR connectors provide quick patching access in a rack, and gold-plated XLR contacts support consistent connectivity over repeated use. A DMX line termination switch allows proper end-of-line termination when needed, helping maintain signal integrity on the data link.
