The NEW Pathway PWREP Rack-Mount 8-Port DMX Repeater is an 8-output DMX512 opto-splitter designed for reliable DMX distribution in installed and touring lighting systems. It enables star-wiring configurations while electrically isolating connected equipment, helping protect consoles, fixtures, and downstream devices from common electrical faults on a DMX line.

DMX Distribution and Protection

With 1 DMX512 input plus a passive DMX512 thru, the PWREP makes it easy to extend or branch DMX runs without daisy-chaining devices. A built-in DMX line termination switch helps you correctly terminate the input line when needed, which can reduce reflections and intermittent data issues in real-world cable layouts. Each output is protected with self-resetting circuitry (no fuses), allowing the unit to recover from voltage faults without user intervention.

Rack-Friendly Build for Installed or Mobile Rigs

Built for quiet control rooms and stage racks, the unit offers silent, fan-less operation and includes rack-mount ears for standard rack installation. Rear-panel 3-pin female XLR connectors keep DMX cabling organized in a rack, and gold-plated XLR contacts support consistent signal connection over repeated use.
