The NEW Pathway PWPP Pathport Wall Mount DMX Gateway is a wall-mount DMX/RDM Ethernet gateway designed for permanent DMX distribution in architectural and entertainment lighting systems. It connects DMX512 control devices to an Ethernet network, then delivers DMX512 to end devices such as intelligent lighting fixtures, LEDs, and dimmers.

The Wall-mount 2-Port is the original and most popular Pathport Gateway. It is suitable for flush-mount or permanent installation, in an attractive Matte Black finish, and fits a standard 2-gang, deep backbox for clean integration into venues, studios, and installed systems.

Networking and Protocol Support

Use the built-in 10Mbps Ethernet port (PoE) to move DMX over the network where you need it. The gateway supports sending and receiving over Pathway ssACN (Secure sACN), ANSI E1.31 streaming ACN (sACN), Art-Net, Pathport Protocol, ShowNet, making it a flexible choice when integrating into existing lighting networks or mixed-protocol environments.

Two Configurable DMX Ports with Advanced Patching

Two configurable DMX ports support DMX output as whole universes or as a custom slot-by-slot patch, helping you route only the channels you need. Advanced features include extensive protocol support, slot-by-slot patching using multiple sources, cross-fading on priority change, and signal loss behavior. Different Ethernet protocols may be merged together and prioritized, and you can map up to eight control sources to each output slot with merge and/or priority options per source.

RDM and Front-Panel Status

For RDM workflows, the unit can act as an ANSI E1.20 RDM controller when used with free Pathscape configuration software or ANSI E1.33 RDMnet compliant controllers. A backlit front-panel LCD displays the device name, network link status, and DMX port information for at-a-glance confirmation during setup and troubleshooting.

Power and Physical Specifications

Power options include Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) or an auxiliary 24-48VDC input. Input ratings are PoE Class 1, with auxiliary power input up to 4W maximum power consumption.
