The Martin MAC 700 Profile is a compact, powerful moving head profile fixture designed for professional stage, touring, and event lighting where punchy output and precise optics matter. It combines a full CMY color mixing system with an 8-position color wheel and a patented gobo animation system for subtle texture work or high-energy aerial looks. It also features rotating gobos, fixed gobos, iris, zoom system and rotating prism.

Color, Beam Shaping, and Effects

For fast, repeatable color work, the MAC 700 Profile pairs CMY color mixing with an 8-position color wheel (plus open), giving you both smooth fades and snap-to-color changes. The gobo animation wheel provides adjustable movement and direction control, and the fixture supports both fixed and rotating gobos for layered projection and motion effects. An interchangeable 3-facet rotating prism can widen and multiply beams, while the motorized iris helps tighten the beam for sharper breakup patterns and more controlled focus points.

Output, Control, and Performance

Built around a 700 W short arc discharge lamp with total output up to 14,700 lumens, this fixture is suited to medium to large venues where brightness and clarity are priorities. Rapid strobe effects (up to 10 Hz), mechanical dimming, and motorized zoom and focus support everything from crisp gobo projection to broader coverage. The electronic ballast enables hot lamp restrike and flicker free light, and variable fan control provides quieter operation when lower noise is needed.
