The d&b audiotechnik E12X Subwoofer (Pkg of 2) pairs two d&b E12X-SUB compact subwoofers with a dual road case for mobile rigs that need real low-end impact without added bulk. Designed to expand the bandwidth and headroom of d&b E-Series systems, the E12X-SUB is a practical fit for corporate AV, houses of worship, intimate live venues, and production inventories where truck space, stage footprint, and fast load-ins matter.

Low-frequency extension for compact E-Series rigs

The E12X-SUB covers a 45 Hz to 100 Hz response in standard mode, or up to 140 Hz when a higher crossover point is needed. This gives smaller E-Series tops more usable low-end authority while keeping system voicing consistent across typical program material.

Amplifier compatibility and predictable SPL

Maximum output is rated up to 124 dB with a d&b 10D and up to 127 dB with D25, 5D, 25D, D40, D80, D90, or 40D amplification. With support for 2 cabinets per amplifier channel, you can scale low-frequency coverage efficiently while maintaining a familiar d&b amplifier layout.

Passive or Active mode for flexible deployment

A built-in passive crossover allows the E12X-SUB to run in parallel with an E8 loudspeaker on the same amplifier channel, a straightforward way to add sub extension while keeping channel counts under control. For applications that benefit from additional processing and control, switch to Active mode and drive the sub from its own channel. In Active mode, the E12X-SUB can supplement any d&b E-Series cabinet, making it adaptable for different room sizes and coverage needs.

Road-ready size, weight, and connectivity

Each cabinet weighs 18 kg (40 lb) for easier handling during changeovers, and the included dual road case helps protect both subs between gigs. Connections are handled via 2 x NLT4 F/M connectors, and the compact enclosure (358 x 530 x 448 mm, 14.1 x 20.9 x 17.6 in) keeps stage real estate open while still delivering meaningful low-frequency reinforcement.
