This lightweight powerhouse combines the latest Maverick series technical achievements with the durability and versatility to perform indoors and out. Harness over 30,000 lumens of output as you go from a narrow 3.4° beam to a wide 56.7° spot.
Precision optics and framing for stage, broadcast, and touring
Freely create with its exquisitely sharp framing shutter system, a 4-blade design with rotation that makes clean beam shaping and edge control practical for everything from theatrical specials to precise scenic cuts. For camera-friendly performance, the fixture supports 65,000 PWM for use with fast frame-rate cameras while maintaining smooth dimming, and it offers 16-bit master dimming for refined fades in cue-heavy shows.
Color, texture, and beam control tools built in
Maverick Storm 3 Profile supports variable CMY + CTO color mixing for a wide palette, plus a color wheel that includes CRI and CTB filters for quick correction and consistency across looks. Create aerial and projected effects with one rotating, indexing, interchangeable slot-and-lock gobo wheel and one static gobo wheel, then expand your options with the five-facet prism, iris, and frost for beam refinement across the zoom range.
Rugged networking and control flexibility
Designed for modern control infrastructures, the fixture supports DMX, WDMX, sACN, and Art-Net, plus RDM over DMX for fixture reporting. Failsafe Ethernet connectivity allows data to pass even if fixture power is lost, and NFC enables quick setup in the shop or in the field. Three setup menu presets and preset sync help streamline multi-fixture prep, and a USB slot supports software uploads.
Weather-ready design with SunShield protection
This Maverick weathers the storm and welcomes the sunshine with SunShield technology that comes on with complete protection of all internal optical components whenever the fixture powers down. A battery backup display with auto-rotate (based on fixture orientation) keeps access to menu information even when power is disconnected.
