The Chauvet Professional Maverick Force X Spot is a powerful yet lightweight 520 W LED moving head spot fixture built for short- and long-throw applications. It combines the latest technical advancements of the Maverick series to deliver 17,325 lumens of output while maintaining a flat field of focus from its narrow 3.5° beam to its wide 57.7° beam, making it easy to keep aerial looks and projected textures crisp across the full zoom range.
Optics and beam shaping for flexible looks
With a wide 18:1 zoom, the Maverick Force X Spot moves from tight beams to broad coverage without sacrificing focus consistency. For shaping and texture, it includes iris control, a five-facet prism, and frost, giving you quick access to punchy mid-air effects, softened washes, or controlled gobos when you need to tailor the look to the venue.
Color and gobos for consistent programming
Color calibration and gobo selection are comparable to other Force fixtures, helping maintain consistent output and visual matching within compatible rigs. The variable CMY color mixing system is renowned for true reds, and it is complemented by a color wheel with CRI and CTB filters for dialing in on-camera and white-point needs. Two gobo wheels (one static and one rotating) support both clean pattern projection and dynamic motion effects.
Camera-ready dimming and control connectivity
Excellent dimming performance is supported by 16-bit master dimming for smooth fades, and 65,000 PWM for use with the fastest frame cameras while still maintaining fantastic dimming. Control is available via DMX, RDM, sACN, Art-Net, or CRMX, providing flexible integration into modern lighting networks, along with RDM for remote addressing and troubleshooting.
Touring and shop-friendly design details
Power is handled via a True-1 compatible power input, and the fixture supports three setup menu presets plus preset sync for efficient cross-loading to multiple like fixtures. Additional workflow features include a USB slot for software uploads, a battery backup display with auto-rotate depending on fixture orientation, NFC for quick setup in the shop or in the field, and failsafe Ethernet connectivity that allows data to pass even if fixture power is lost.
