The Avitech VCC-8008U Multiviewer (VCC-8000 Series) is a rackmount multiviewer solution for monitoring multiple DVI-I and HD/SD/Composite video sources on a single display, ideal for broadcast, live production, control rooms, and AV installations where quick visual confirmation of many feeds is required.

Designed for mixed-signal environments, the VCC-8008U accepts both computer and video inputs, making it practical when you need to combine DVI/VGA/YPbPr sources alongside SDI and composite feeds without dedicating a separate monitor to each device.

Signal Support and I/O Flexibility

The VCC-8008U supports 4x DVI/VGA/YPbPr inputs plus 4x CV and HD/SD-SDI inputs. Supported input formats include 480p (60Hz), 576p (50Hz), 720p (50/60Hz), and 1080i (50/60Hz), with DVI-I input resolutions from 640x480 up to 1920x1200.

Display Output Options

DVI-I output resolution options include 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x720, 1280x768, 1280x1024, 1366x768, 1400x1050, 1440x900, 1600x1200, 1680x1050, 1920x1080, and 1920x1200 at 50/60/75Hz, helping you match common control-room displays and professional monitors.

Installation and Control

The unit is built in a metal, 1RU chassis sized for standard 19-inch racks (19” W x 10” D, 48.3cm W x 25.4cm D) and weighs 8 lb (3.6 Kg). PC system requirements listed for setup/control are 256 MB hard disk space and 256 MB RAM, with Windows 98, 2000, XP, or Vista.
