The Brompton Technology Tessera T1 LED processor is a practical choice for smaller creative shows that don’t need to output a huge number of pixels. It supports resolutions up to 1080p60 and offers front-side processing, rotation, and DMX control. With a single Tessera Protocol Gigabit Ethernet output, it is capable of a nominal 525K pixels at 60Hz, making it well-suited for coarser pitch LED panels, strips, and tile-based layouts.

Flexible Mapping and Fast Setup

The T1 processor is designed to give you control over fixture layout and input processing, even when real-world cabling order is not ideal. Pixel mapping allows free placement and rotation of fixtures regardless of cabling order, and includes mapping support for multiple sub-fixtures from a single Receiver Card (for example, LED strips or small tiles), allowing each to be independently positioned and rotated. Quick Association provides a fast, straightforward way to associate large numbers of fixtures to a Brompton processor.

Input Processing and Content Handling

The single DVI-D input can be scaled, clipped, and colour adjusted to map content precisely to your LED fixtures. The Tessera T1 supports RGB and YCbCr colour spaces, and can accept HDMI with a suitable adapter. It does not support HDCP. Interpolated Mode seamlessly and automatically scales content across different fixture types, helping maintain consistent presentation when pixel pitch varies across the build.

Timing, Latency, and Monitoring

For timing-critical playback, the processor supports Genlock (sync to source). Processors genlock from source right through to panel refresh, with frame rates from 23.98 to 60Hz. End-to-end system latency is 3 frames with all features enabled, or 2 frames in low-latency mode (with restricted features). A DisplayPort (DP++) monitor output is provided for convenient local monitoring.
