NEW Ayrton Domino LT is an all-terrain LED moving-head luminaire in the LT (Long Throw) range, built for intensive outdoor use in long-distance applications where beam precision, output, and repeatable positioning matter, including stadiums, large arenas, and other large-scale venues.

Long-Throw Optics for Precision at Distance

To create this extreme luminaire unrivalled on the market, AYRTON has used “XXL” 225 mm-diameter frontal optics weighing 7 kg that can obtain an ultra-intensive beam. The proprietary optical system has 13 lenses, delivering a 15:1 zoom ratio and a zoom range of 3.5° to 53°. For touring and permanent installs alike, the fast motorised linear zoom supports tight aerial beams, long-distance specials, and wider coverage without changing fixtures.

Outdoor-Ready Design and Thermal Management

DOMINO LT was developed to cope with the most extreme conditions, able to acclimate to all types of environments and endure rapid climate change. For this purpose, DOMINO LT has borrowed from the style and minimalist design of DOMINO PROFILE, incorporating full weather-proofing features while ensuring total accessibility to the luminaire’s internal functions. With its new die-cast aluminium frame, the luminaire uses the same base, reducing its visual footprint to a minimum. For greater efficiency, DOMINO LT has a highly effective next-generation, oversized cooling system fitted with six submersible fans outside its weatherproof enclosure.

High-Output LED Engine and Tunable Color Control

Equipped with an all-new high-efficiency 1,000-watt LED module, DOMINO LT delivers a record luminous flux of 51,000 lumens at a colour temperature of 6700 K. It also features a 75,000 lumens 8200 K white light engine, with total luminaire output up to 51,000 lumens (integrating sphere measurement, Auto Fan Mode). DOMINO LT adopts the complex colour mixing system of HURACÁN PROFILE, offering a double level of CMY saturation that can obtain 281 trillion colours (patent pending) and a triple corrector for variable colour temperature that allows subtle adjustment from 2700 K to 15000 K and significant CRI improvement. CRI is greater than 70, and flicker-free source management makes it suitable for TV applications and video-recorded events.

Beam Shaping, Texture, and Effects Toolset

Fitted with multiple optical tools for shaping light, DOMINO LT is factory-equipped with a linear progressive frost system, a lightweight frost filter, and two image-multiplying rotating prisms, one is linear with four facets and the other is circular with five facets. The framing section enables precise positioning of each shutter blade on a 100% surface area. The effects section includes two superimposed rotating gobo wheels each with seven gobos, a 15-blade iris diaphragm, a monochromatic multi-position effects wheel, and an RGB and CMY effects wheel for unique multicolour effects. These tools support clean architectural cuts, animated aerial looks, textured washes, and controllable beam diffusion from the same platform.

Control, Positioning Accuracy, and Connectivity

Designed for highly accurate positioning, the moving head can be operated via either 8- or 16-bit resolution, with high-resolution stepper motors operated via microprocessors to ensure extreme accuracy and smooth movement. Pan and tilt automatic repositioning helps maintain consistent focus and repeatability, with a moving-head range of 540° pan and 263° tilt. Addressing and configuration can be handled locally via the built-in graphic LCD display (with flip function) and five menu buttons, or remotely via RDM, including DMX addressing of luminaire and optional parameters through a standard RDM DMX controller. An information menu provides hour counter, temperature, and software version, with excess temperature protection for operational safety. For streamlined wireless workflows, DOMINO LT includes an integrated wireless CRMX TiMo RDM receiver from LumenRadio.
