Flexible Input Conversion to SDI

The ADVC G1 converts and/or upscales, at the user’s choice, HDMI, DVI, component, composite, S-Video, AES/EBU and analog audio to 3G/HD/ SD-SDI. This makes it a practical option when you need to bring mixed sources, including computers and legacy analog gear, into an SDI pipeline without changing your downstream infrastructure.

Audio Embedding and Sync Support

The ADVC G1 can also be used as an audio embedder, allowing you to feed external audio into the SDI output for simpler cabling and cleaner routing. It features a Reference In port which can serve as a frame synchronizer for analog inputs, eliminating the need to purchase separate expensive equipment. This is especially helpful when working with timing-sensitive sources that need to be aligned to house reference.
