Built around an 800W white LED engine, it delivers a crisp 6,500K image with a flat field that holds up for long throws and large stages, from arenas and houses of worship to broadcast and touring systems.
Optics, Zoom, and Beam Control
The ERA 800 Performance is designed for both tight aerial looks and wide stage coverage, thanks to a fast 1:8 motorized zoom (7° to 56°) and a large 160 mm front lens for a bold beam presence. Motorized focus helps keep gobos sharp across changing throw distances, and the iris provides fast, precise beam sizing for isolating scenic elements or tightening a logo or texture.
Color Mixing and CTO for Camera-Friendly Looks
Full CMY color mixing supports smooth, saturated palette building, while the 6-slot color wheel adds additional color choices and split-color effects when you need faster, repeatable looks. Linear CTO expands the CMY palette and makes it easy to move from daylight to tungsten tones (variable 6,500K to 2,700K), which is especially useful when matching other fixtures on a rig or balancing against video and practical sources.
Gobos, Animation, Prisms, and Frost Effects
For texture and movement, the fixture includes both rotating and static gobo wheels, with a selection of Martin glass gobos inspired by the MAC range. An animation wheel with continuous bi-directional rotation adds organic motion for scenic washes and backdrop effects. Two rotating/indexing prisms (4-facet circular and 6-facet linear) provide layered beam breakup and dynamic mid-air looks, and soft and heavy frost filters let you transition from defined gobo artwork to wide wash-style output without changing fixtures.
Framing for Precise Stage Shaping
The ERA 800 Performance includes a full curtain framing system with a rotatable module (±60°) and four individually controllable blades. This makes it practical for keeping light off screens, masking set pieces, shaping scenic lines, and creating clean, repeatable cuts in venues where precision matters.
Tour-Ready Movement and Output Control
Electronic dimming (0 to 100%) with four dimming curve options supports smooth fades, while the electronic shutter provides strobe, pulse, and instant blackout effects for cue-driven programming. Pan and tilt control (540° pan, 260° tilt, with coarse/fine control and speed) enables fast repositioning across large stages and consistent focus for complex looks.
