This listing is for a Package of (2) ROBE ROBIN BMFL WashBeam moving lights. These units have about 10 hours of use and have minor wear. They have been tested and are in like new condition. A dual road case is included.

The BMFL WashBeam is built to deliver a powerful, wide beam through its large 180 mm front lens, making it a strong choice for touring, festivals, and large venues where aerial effects and bold stage looks need to read from a distance. With a custom light source designed for Robe, it produces an astounding 300.000 lux at 5 metres for bright beams and punchy, spot-like projections on surfaces when needed.

Beam, Color, and Output Control

Dial in saturated looks or precise white balance with full CMY mixing (cyan, magenta, and yellow each 0 to 100 percent) plus variable CTO from 2.700 to 6.000 K. Two color wheels expand your palette with fixed dichroic colors (deep red, deep blue, orange, green, magenta, congo blue + white) and a second wheel of replaceable “SLOT&LOCK” colors (pink, lavender, laser green, 9.000 K CTB, minus half and minus green + white). The result is fast, repeatable color changes that integrate cleanly into DMX-based rigs.

Gobos, Animation, and In-Air Effects

A rotating gobo wheel with 6 rotating, indexable, replaceable “SLOT&LOCK” glass gobos plus open supports textured beams and projection-style looks. An aluminum animation wheel can be used alone or combined with gobos, rotating in both directions at variable speed, enabling layered, in-air movement that works especially well in haze. A motorized, stepless iris adds tight-beam control and pulse effects up to 3 Hz.

Framing, Frost, and Image Shaping

For precise shaping, the fixture includes a 4-blade framing shutter system with individually positionable blades and rotation of the complete frame system ±45°. Frost options cover a range of beam softness, including Variable Light, Medium, plus a replaceable Heavy frost (two additional frosts are included). Motorized zoom and focus help keep edges controlled from tight to wide looks.

Dimming, Shutter, and Movement

Shutter and dimming are handled by a separate dual blade system for smooth fades, full blackout, and variable strobe effects up to 10 Hz. Fast, controllable pan and tilt (540° pan, 270° tilt) with Standard and Speed movement modes allow you to match cue timing, whether you need crisp snaps or smoother transitions.

Lamp and Physical Details

The BMFL WashBeam uses a compact short-arc metal halide lamp with PGJX28 base (approved model: OSRAM Lok-it! HTI 1700/PS), rated for 750 hours at 1700 W (also supports 1500 W and Quiet mode). It offers CRI 92+ and a 6.000 K color temperature. Dimensions are 826 mm (H) x 483 mm (W) x 335 mm (D), and weight is 38.4 kg (84.7 lbs), helpful for planning rigging and transport.
