NEW Martin ERA 150 Wash

The Martin ERA 150 Wash moving-head LED wash fixture delivers high lumen output with high-intensity narrow zoom, plus full-gamut color calibration for accurate color reproduction and color temperature control. It is a versatile, affordable workhorse lighting solution for rentals, installations, and touring where consistent color, smooth dimming, and flexible beam coverage matter.

The ERA 150 Wash takes performance further with a newly designed optical system that produces a wider zoom range, higher output, and a wide, uniform wash field. Advanced color-calibration features include extended color mode and a CTC channel that can modify RGB channels, helping you match camera looks, balance stage lighting, or align mixed fixture rigs more reliably.

Color and output control for consistent looks

Built around 7 x 40 W RGBW Osram LEDs, the ERA 150 Wash supports RGBW color mixing with 48 color presets and virtual color wheel effects for quick, repeatable color choices. Variable 1,800 to 10,000 K color temperature control makes it easier to dial in warm tungsten-style tones, neutral whites, or cooler looks without swapping filters. For consistent results from show to show, it offers LED color management modes (raw, extended, and calibrated) and tight color and flux binning, backed by Full Gamut Color Calibration.

Wide zoom range and smooth effects

A motorized zoom of 4.2 to 58° lets you switch from tighter beams to broad washes from the same fixture position, which is useful for changing stage layouts and trim heights. Electronic dimming runs 0 to 100% with four dimming curve options for smoother fades, while strobe and pulse effects provide variable speed and action, including random strobe. An electronic shutter enables instant open and blackout for clean hits and tight cueing.

Movement and professional control

With 540° pan and 260° tilt, plus 16-bit fine control for dimming, RGB, zoom, pan, and tilt, the ERA 150 Wash is designed for precise programming and repeatable positioning. Control is via DMX and RDM, using 18 DMX channels, with USITT DMX512-A compliance and ANSI/ESTA E1.20 RDM compliance. Addressing is handled through an onboard LCD control panel, and fixture software updates can be performed via USB memory device or over a DMX link.

Build and installation details

The fixture is housed in high-impact, flame-retardant thermoplastic (black) with an IP20 rating. It measures 276 mm (10.9 in.) long, 176 mm (7.0 in.) wide, and 356 mm (14.1 in.) high, and weighs 7.3 kg (16.1 lbs.). Minimum LED lifetime is rated at 50,000 hours (to > 70% luminous output) under the manufacturer’s test conditions.
