NEW Ayrton Mistral 300W LED Spot

The NEW Ayrton Mistral 300W LED Spot is a compact moving-head spot designed for stage, studio, and event lighting where you need a wide zoom range, clean projection, and repeatable positioning. The MISTRAL features a 13-lens proprietary optical system that delivers a 8:1 zoom ratio with a zoom range of 6.7° to 53°. The optics, equipped with a 119 mm frontal lens, can achieve an extremely uniform flat beam that can render images perfectly in all conditions and at any beam angle.

Two LED Engine Options for Different Workflows

MISTRAL comes in two versions, each to meet the specific requirements of lighting professionals. MISTRAL-S is designed for scenic applications. It is equipped with a new LED module, delivering powerful metallic white light with record-breaking output of 18,000 lumens and a colour temperature of 7000 K. Devised specifically for applications that require perfect colour reproduction, MISTRAL-TC is equipped with an entirely new LED module using a monochromatic light source with a native colour rendering index greater than 90, extremely high TM30 readings and a colour temperature of 6000 K.

Optics, Color, and Beam Shaping

The high-resolution 13-element zoom system supports fast motorised linear zoom and uses tempered, anti-reflective coated lenses to help maintain contrast across the full beam aperture. For color control, MISTRAL includes a sophisticated CMY color mixing system with variable CTO correction, plus a fixed color wheel with seven saturated filters for fast, repeatable selections.

For shaping and texture, the fixture provides both an indexable rotating gobo wheel with 7 high-precision glass gobos (plus open) and a fixed gobo wheel with 9 high-precision glass gobos (plus open). Gobos use a 25.5 mm diameter (image diameter 20.0 mm, thickness 1.1 mm). A fast iris diaphragm supports dynamic effects with an iris range of 15% to 100% open. A light frost filter is included (heavy frost filter optional). A focusable graphic animation effect wheel with continuous bi-directional rotation adds motion without changing fixtures, and a 5-facet circular indexable rotating prism expands aerial looks.

Movement and Control for Live and Broadcast

MISTRAL is built for accurate cueing with high-resolution stepper motors and microprocessor control, offering extremely accurate positioning and smooth movement. Pan and tilt include automatic repositioning, with a moving head range of 540° pan and 270° tilt. The moving head can be operated via either 8- or 16-bit resolution for the right balance of control and channel count.

For on-camera environments, the fixture provides flicker-free source management suitable for TV applications and video-recorded events. An electronic dimmer enables 0 to 100% adjustment without color variation, and the strobe effect offers variable speed from 1 to 25 flashes per second.
