The high performance USHIO HPL+ lamp has been redesigned to be the most powerful HPL ever. Its ultra-compact filament geometry now improves the optical efficiency of your ETC Source Four fixtures to produce up to 20% more fixture lumens. That’s up to 20% more light from the same fixture as compared to the old lamp design.

Designed for ETC Source Four Performance

Built around a compact 6-C8 filament and a clear T6 bulb envelope, this halogen HPL lamp is engineered to help your Source Four optics capture and project more usable light on stage. With a 3050K color temperature, it delivers a warm theatrical white that pairs well with gels and maintains a familiar tungsten look for venues, schools, rental houses, and touring rigs.

Output and Life Balance

Rated at 575W / 230V, the HPL-575/230X+ (ANSI: JS230V-575WXN) produces 11,780 initial lumens (20.5 lm/W) with a 1,500-hour rated life, a practical balance for spaces that want strong output while keeping lamp change intervals manageable.

Fit, Handling, and Operating Details

The HT/SNK base and compact dimensions (18.35 mm diameter, 104 mm MOL, 60.3 mm light center length) are suited to HPL lamp applications, and the lamp is rated for ANY burn position for flexible fixture orientation. This model does not include a front glass cover.
