The Magmatic Sidewinder is a high velocity CO2 simulator fog machine built for fast, punchy atmosphere effects in concerts, clubs, and touring productions. Including 22 x 2 watt RGBA LEDs, it pairs dense fog output with vivid color to create CO2-style bursts and beam-visible looks from a single, compact unit.

High-Impact Bursts with Multi-Position Output

The Sidewinder can burst fog in multiple positions, rotating 180° degrees for flexible cueing and placement on stage or in venue installs. It’s designed for dramatic hits and rhythmic accents, delivering four 10-second, 20-ft bursts, with an approximate maximum throw distance of 20 feet. Max continuous output is 12 seconds at full output, and cycling ready time is approximately 1 minute (with an initial ready time of about 9 minutes).

Built-In RGBA Color for CO2-Style Looks

Integrated RGBA LEDs allow you to light the fog plume directly at the source for saturated color mixes and dynamic chases synced to music or cues. The fixture includes 22 RGBA LEDs, specified as 3 watt in the feature set.

Control Options for Live and Installed Systems

Easy to use onboard LCD touch screen control panel makes local setup quick, while DMX-512 and RDM support integrates smoothly into lighting networks. Choose from 3 DMX channel modes (1 / 4 / 7) to match simple triggering or more detailed control. Connectivity includes 5-pin locking XLR in/out data connectors, plus a wired digital communication network for reliable operation.

Housed in a durable aluminum chassis with a compact, lightweight mobile design, the Sidewinder is built for frequent load-ins and demanding environments. It features a thermally protected heat exchanger, advanced HPA (high pressure air) pump technology, and an energy saving mode with auto-clean process. The sealed 2.5L fluid reservoir supports cleaner handling, with external visual fluid level detection for quick checks during operation.
