The MA Lighting grandMA3 onPC Command Wing is a portable hardware control surface designed to bring the hands-on workflow of a grandMA3 console to a laptop or desktop running the free of charge grandMA3 onPC software. It delivers 2,048 parameters of real-time control (HTP/LTP) in a compact setup that is well-suited for touring, rehearsal rooms, clubs, houses of worship, schools, and any production where you want a console-like experience without transporting a full console.

Console-style control for grandMA3 onPC

Designed as the perfect hardware expansion to the grandMA3 onPC software, the grandMA3 onPC command wing enables the look and feel of the software to be as close to a real grandMA3 console as possible. Thanks to the grandMA3 onPC command wing incorporating the command section of the grandMA3 consoles, it has never been easier to use the grandMA3 onPC software. With a simple USB connection between the grandMA3 onPC command wing and the computer running the grandMA3 onPC software, all inputs and outputs of a grandMA3 console are available to the user, including DMX, MIDI, timecode, and remote control.

Outputs and expandability

For straightforward system integration, the command wing offers two built-in DMX ports, plus the ability to output two additional DMX universes via Ethernet protocols with grandMA3 onPC software. It provides real-time control for 2,048 parameters in combination with grandMA3 onPC, and can be expanded up to 4,096 parameters with onPC products and grandMA3 onPC.

Hands-on playback and programming tools

Built for fast programming and playback, the surface includes 10 motorized 60 mm faders, 40 separate playbacks, and 16 assignable x-keys for busking, cuelists, and frequently used commands. Fine control is supported by 29 rotary RGB backlit encoders, 5 dual encoders, and a dedicated level wheel. For show playback and manual timing, you also get two motorized 100 mm A/B faders. Keys are individually backlit, dimmable, and silent (clickless), which helps in quiet environments and broadcast-style applications.
