NEW Chauvet Professional COLORado Batten Q15

COLORado Batten Q15 is a rugged, tour-ready, quad-color RGBW LED batten with 15 individually controllable LEDs that eliminate the appearance of “skittles” and allow for awesome pixel-mappable looks. The IP65-rated unit features tremendous output with selectable, smooth dimming curves, convenient color temperature presets and an extraordinary reach with a native 16° beam angle.

Designed for touring, rental, and production use, COLORado Batten Q15 is equally at home on stage, in studios, and in architectural or live-event environments where weather and dust are a concern. IP-rated power and DMX connections support all-environment operation, helping reduce downtime from exposure and making load-ins and changeovers more predictable.

Pixel control and smooth output for camera and stage

With 15 RGBW cells for individual control, the fixture is well suited for pixel-mapped chases, segmented looks, and low-resolution video-style effects while maintaining a clean, blended beam. It delivers 6,324 lumens (5,547 lumens with filter) and up to 2,399 lux at 5 m (653 lux at 5 m with filter), with an electronic dimmer and shutter/strobe (0 to 25 Hz) for precise cues.

Color temperature presets and flexible dimming behavior

Dial in warm tungsten-like tones or cooler daylight looks using color temperature presets across 1800 K to 8000 K. Five dimming modes and selectable dimming curves help you match the fixture’s fade response to your console programming style or to other fixtures in the rig.

Optics, beam coverage, and control connectivity

The installed optics provide a tight, punchy look with a 16° beam angle (15.5° horizontal, 14.7° vertical) and a 28.6° by 28.1° field angle. With the included filter, coverage widens significantly to 41.9° horizontal beam and a 77.9° horizontal field, ideal when you need more wash coverage from a single position. For flicker-sensitive environments and broadcast workflows, selectable PWM options range from 1,200 Hz up to 25,000 Hz. Control and power integrate cleanly with 5-pin IP65 XLR data connections and Seetronic powerKON IP65 power in/out.

Mounting options and on-fixture security

Unique end-cap and back-plate mounting options support a variety of rigging orientations, and the large, easy-to-navigate display includes password protection for safer operation in shared venues and rentals. The aluminum alloy housing and black finish are built for the demands of touring and repeated handling. Dimensions are 41.22 x 7.28 x 6.55 in (1047 x 185 x 166.4 mm), and weight is 28.8 lb (13 kg).
