NEW Chamsys QuickQ Rack
Description
QuickQ Rack is a small rack mountable version of the QuickQ console designed for installations. It features the same operating system as QuickQ series consoles, but is designed to operate as a remote system without physical user control, making it a practical choice for venues that need reliable lighting playback with wall stations, remote inputs, or network control.
Supporting four universes, QuickQ Rack is ideal for installations, control rooms and bars where multiple fixture groups or zones need to be managed without a full front-of-house console. The unit can be used as a desktop box or rack mounted with the supplied rack ears, so it fits cleanly into an equipment rack or a small technical workspace.
Control and Playback for Installed Systems
For straightforward day-to-day operation, QuickQ Rack provides ten scene buttons and supports installed scene control via its four 10-scene ports, allowing connection of up to forty 10 Scene wall plates. This makes it well suited to architectural and venue workflows where staff need simple scene recall without accessing a console surface.
DMX, RDM, and Network Output Options
QuickQ Rack includes two RDM 5-pin DMX outputs for direct fixture control, plus a network port for Art-Net/sACN output when you need to distribute DMX over an IP network. Front-panel USB support makes loading and saving shows quick during commissioning or service visits.
Remote Programming and Integration
To simplify setup and adjustments after installation, QuickQ Rack includes inbuilt Wi-Fi for programming and remote control. It also provides four remote input ports, MIDI and audio in/out ports, and an HDMI port for an optional display, helping it integrate into control rooms and AV racks where external triggers, monitoring, or show control connectivity are needed.
Designed to Share a Rig
QuickQ Rack runs the same software as QuickQ Consoles and includes a simple Hot-Takeover mode allowing an external console to take control of connected fixtures, which can be useful when an installed system occasionally needs hands-on operator control for events.
Power and Installation Details
Power is handled via a TrueCon input (90-250v AC) to accommodate common installation environments.
