NEW Blizzard Motif Atelier 8FX

The NEW Blizzard Motif Atelier 8FX is an IP65-rated, half-meter LED linear wash light designed for clean, controlled vertical washes on walls, scrims, cycloramas, and other boundaries. It delivers RGB+WW 4-in-1 color mixing and pixel effects via 8x 15W, individually controllable high output LEDs, giving you smooth color, punchy looks, and flexible control from subtle architectural accents to dynamic stage environments.

Its warm white channel is built to mimic tungsten-source lighting, producing soft, warm white tones or adding natural warmth to any RGB mixed color. Motif Atelier 8FX innovative asymmetrical 10x40° optics are ideally suited for vertical wash applications along walls, scrims, and other boundaries. It projects a 10° soft edge parallel to minimize spill away. Atelier’s 40° angle is perpendicular; its long axis mixes individual LEDs into a homogeneous wash or allows multiple swaths of color to overlap for spectacular gradients and pixel effects.

Control, Pixel Effects, and Standalone Looks

For programming and playback flexibility, the Motif Atelier 8FX supports wash effects, grouped pixels, and pixel mapping, plus virtual color wheel effects. It includes 33 built-in automated programs, along with 10 custom colors and 3 custom program banks for quick access to repeatable looks. When a console is not available, RGB+WW color mixing can be used in standalone mode for simple, reliable operation.

DMX Workflow and Fixture Management

In multi-fixture rigs, the Atelier 8FX is built to streamline setup with fixture ID addressing and the ability to sync custom settings between fixtures via DMX. Custom global color calibration settings help keep multiple units consistent, which is especially useful for long wall runs or matched front-of-house accents.

Performance and Build for Installed or Touring Use

Output shaping is supported by a variable electronic dimmer and multiple strobe effects. The fixture uses a durable cast aluminum housing, a tempered glass lens, and watertight internal gaskets, and it relies on efficient convection cooling for zero fan noise, a practical advantage in theaters, studios, and other quiet environments. An included mounting bracket with locking knobs supports secure positioning.
