Chauvet Professional Maverick MK3 Wash raises the bar on output, color consistency, and pixel effects for professional stage, touring, and installation wash lighting. Powered by 27 (40 W) Osram RGBW LEDs, it has the muscle to handle demanding applications, including long-throw situations, while keeping color looks consistent across fixtures. Pixel mapping effects, built-in color macros and gobos, along with a CTO color mixing option help you move quickly from clean washes to layered, atmospheric looks without adding external media.

Color, Output, and Beam Control

The Maverick MK3 Wash supports RGBW color mixing plus a wide 2800 to 10000 K color temperature range, making it practical for matching warm tungsten tones, neutral whites, or cooler daylight looks. Motorized zoom lets you shift from tight beams to wide coverage (7 deg to 45 deg zoom angle), with beam and field angles specified at 5 deg to 29 deg and 7 deg to 45 deg. For punch and precision, illuminance is rated at 78,300 lux @ 5 m (7 deg) and 2814 lux @ 5 m (45 deg).

Pixel Effects and Look Building

Beyond smooth wash coverage, this fixture is designed for effects-driven programming. Pixel mapping enables dynamic chases and patterns across the 27 RGBW LED emitters, and built-in colors provide quick starting points when time is tight. A built-in virtual gobo wheel with background colors supports impressive atmospheric effects, and Move-in-Black is available for cleaner transitions in cues.

Control, Networking, and System Compatibility

Flexible control options include DMX, sACN, Art-Net, Kling-Net, or W DMX, helping the Maverick MK3 Wash fit into modern consoles, networked nodes, and pixel workflows. It can also receive Art-Net or sACN in and send DMX out, which can simplify data distribution and reduce cable runs. RDM support enables remote addressing and troubleshooting, and the fixture can convert TCP/IP to DMX for shorter data cable runs.

Movement, Dimming, and Camera-Friendly Operation

Precise pan, tilt, and zoom provide smooth repositioning, with 540 deg pan and 270 deg tilt and selectable pan and tilt ranges (540 deg, 360 deg, 180 deg pan and 270 deg, 180 deg, 90 deg tilt). 16-bit dimming is available for the master dimmer and individual colors for clean fades, and electronic shutter and strobe support 0 to 20 Hz.
