NEW Arri M18 HMI Head

The ARRI M18 HMI Head combines MAX Technology, True Blue features and a new 1800 W lamp to create a powerful, compact HMI lamphead that can be powered from most domestic sockets. It is as small as a 1200 W PAR lamphead but with 70% higher light output, making it a practical choice for high-output key, fill or bounce lighting on location or in the studio.

High Output in a Compact, Flexible Lamphead

Designed for fast-moving production workflows, the M18 delivers punchy HMI performance without the bulk typically associated with higher-wattage fixtures. The adjustable beam angle (20° to 60°) lets you move quickly between a tighter, more directional beam and a broader spread, useful when switching from longer throws to softer, closer setups.

MAX Technology and True Blue Handling

The M18 features lens-less MAX Technology for straightforward operation and setup. True Blue details support reliable day-to-day use on set, including a True Blue tilt lock that holds even heavy Chimeras. Cross Cooling supports safe operation at any tilt angle, which helps when you need to rig high, low or steeply angled without changing your lighting plan.

Power and Cable Compatibility

Built around a new 1800 W lamp, the M18 can also be used with 1200 W lamps and ballasts, providing flexibility when matching existing inventory or working within power constraints. It uses existing 575/1,200/1,800 W cables, helping integrate into established HMI cable kits.
