The NEW Arri L5-C LED Fresnel Hanging Model, Black, 5' Cable Bare Ends is a compact, rig-friendly fixture in ARRI’s L-Series, designed for television studios, interview setups, and tight location work where you need high-quality, controllable light from a small footprint. Its low weight makes it easy to hang from low ceilings and fit into cramped spaces, and the low-heat operation helps keep talent comfortable during longer takes.

Built to complement the L7, the L5 expands the L-Series with a more mobile power class for fast-moving productions. The L5 is approximately 45% brighter than a 300 watt tungsten Fresnel, but only consumes 115 watts. When compared to the L7, the L5 is half the weight and size, making it a practical choice when rigging limits, small crews, or quick repositioning are part of your workflow.

Color Control for Mixed Lighting and Creative Looks

The L5-C is fully tuneable from 2,800 K to 10,000 K, letting you match common practicals, daylight, and studio environments without gels. Plus/minus green correction helps you quickly fine-tune for mixed-source spaces and camera-specific color matching. For creative work, vibrant RGB+W color selection with hue and saturation control supports punchy accents, subtle tints, and repeatable looks while maintaining high color rendering.

Rigging, Power, and Control Options

This hanging model is built for installed and overhead use and keeps control and connectivity on the fixture for efficient setup. It is fully dimmable and offers fan mode selection for balancing output and noise on set. Power is handled via a powerCON TRUE1 power connector, and portability is expanded with an on-board battery connection (23 to 36V DC), allowing industry-standard batteries to run the L5 without sacrificing features or light output.

For integration into studio and location control systems, the L5-C includes onboard DMX in and out, RDM implementation for remote configuration, and a USB Mini connection for firmware updates.
