The NEW ETC ColorSource 20 is a portable lighting control console designed for streamlined, plug-and-play setup in venues, schools, houses of worship, and small to mid-size productions. When you power up the console, it recognizes intelligent lights in your rig and auto-populates them in patch, helping you get from load-in to programming faster. Use the onboard 7-inch multi-touch screen to drag fixtures into place on a customizable stage map, then build looks and playbacks in minutes.

Fast Patch and Touchscreen Stage Mapping

ColorSource 20 is built for modern LED and moving-light workflows. Auto fixture recognition and patching reduce manual setup, while the touch-based stage map keeps programming visual and organized, especially when you are managing multiple fixture types across a rig. A customizable Channel display and virtual keypad make level entry and selection straightforward for new users, without slowing down experienced programmers.

Hands-On Playback Control for Live Operation

For busking, cues, or rehearsals, the console provides 20 channel/playback faders with color indication, plus four configurable function faders and one home plus five configurable softkey buttons for quick access during a show. You can run one cue list with up to 999 cues, and organize looks as static memories or sequences across 10 pages of 20 or 40 playbacks. Playback Toy support enables filtered and timed execution of playbacks, and multiple bump modes (Flash, Solo, Solo Change, Move/Go) help tailor the console to your preferred operating style.

DMX/RDM Connectivity, Storage, and Fixture Tools

Connectivity includes one DMX/RDM port for controlling and managing compatible fixtures, plus one USB port. The console includes 2 GB of onboard storage for show files. An extensive library for controlling moving lights, along with color and white pickers, reference-based Position, Color, and Beam palettes, and touch-driven parameter controls support consistent programming across fixtures. Additional tools include effects (intensity, color, shape, and parameter), fixture tags for quick selects, 27 Quick Select groupings, auto fixture selection on fader moves, a virtual level/rate wheel, and full-history rubberbanding for playbacks.
