ETC Source Four Top Hat 14"

The ETC Source Four Top Hat 14" is an accessory for a Source Four 5 Degree lens tube that helps control unwanted light spill and reduces the viewing angle to the lens. When fixture optics are less than ideal or lenses are poorly maintained, stray light can land in the audience or on scenery. A top hat helps keep the beam contained where you want it.

It is also often objectionable to the audience or camera to see the bright source of the light, and this top hat can shield the bright source from view. Top hats and half top hats are flocked on the interior to reduce light reflection.

Glare and Spill Control for Clean Sightlines

A black flocked interior is standard on all top hats and half top hats for maximum reduction of glare and spill, helping you maintain a cleaner stage picture and reduce lens flare on camera in tight sightline situations.

Fit and Compatibility

This top hat is for use with a 5 degree Source Four lens tube and is used with a Source Four 5 Degree Ellipsoidal. The frame measures 14" x 14", with a tube opening of 12".
