The Swisson XSR series are reliable DMX and RDM splitters and boosters that process DMX and RDM signals with a high level of reliability for professional applications. By boosting and regenerating the data stream, the XSR helps reduce reflection-related issues and supports cleaner distribution to multiple downstream runs.

Protection and Isolation for Real-World Rigs

The XSR has a specially designed power supply which ensures safe operation even under harsh mains conditions. All ports are individually optically isolated and well protected against transient over voltages, helping prevent a fault on one line from affecting the rest of the system.

DMX-Only Mode for Clean, Legacy-Compatible Output

In the "DMX-only" mode all non-DMX data is filtered out and a clean signal without RDM or other protocols is generated, which can be useful when feeding DMX devices that do not support RDM.

RDM Visibility for Setup and Troubleshooting

The XSR splitters are "discoverable", and are visible on RDM controllers. This gives the user an better overview of the installation and helps with trouble shooting.

Port Capacity and Built-In Termination

Each universe provides 5 DMX outputs (10 outputs on the double-rack), and built-in line termination is provided for proper DMX line management.
