Use the XSR to split a single DMX universe into multiple isolated outputs, helping you build cleaner, more serviceable cable layouts while reducing reflection problems that can cause flicker or intermittent data issues. By regenerating the data stream, it helps maintain signal integrity over longer runs and across multiple fixtures.

RDM support with discoverable device visibility

The XSR splitters are discoverable, and are visible on RDM controllers. This gives the user an better overview of the installation and helps with trouble shooting, especially when managing large fixture counts or multiple branches from a single console or gateway.

Electrical protection and isolation per port

The XSR has a specially designed power supply which ensures safe operation even under harsh mains conditions. All ports are individually optically isolated and well protected against transient over voltages, helping to prevent a fault on one line from disrupting the rest of the system.

DMX-only mode and installation-ready details

In the "DMX-only" mode all non-DMX data is filtered out and a clean signal without RDM or other protocols is generated. The unit features built-in line termination and supports multiple connection types across the XSR range, including 3-pin and 5-pin XLR, RJ-45, and pluggable screw terminals, with housing types available for installation, box, rack, and double rack applications. The XSR platform provides 5 DMX outputs per universe (10 outputs on the double-rack).
