The Pathway DMX Repeater series of opto-splitters are an essential component of DMX distribution systems, permitting star-wiring configurations while isolating and protecting equipment from electrical faults. For permanent installs, the PWREP wall-mount format keeps distribution centralized and serviceable, with clear front-panel status visibility for faster troubleshooting.

RDM-Ready DMX Distribution

The RDM model supports the bi-directional communication standard E1.20 Remote Device Management (RDM), making it well suited for systems where fixtures and devices need discovery, addressing, and status feedback over the same DMX line.

Installation and Protection Details

Internally pre-configured and pre-wired, the unit is ready for installation. It provides 4 outputs and 3 inputs, and uses removable terminal connectors, with both compression-screw terminal and insulation-displacement contact (IDC) connectors supplied, to accommodate common field wiring preferences.

There are no fuses. Self-resetting port protection recovers from voltage faults, helping keep shows and venues running after transient wiring or line issues. Power is handled by a 120-277VAC, 50/60Hz power supply, supporting a wide range of architectural and entertainment power environments.

An RDM-compliant non-isolated 5th output port is provided, and LED indicators show Port Activity, Power, DMX Input, and Iso Power for at-a-glance confirmation of signal flow and device status.
