ROBE ROBIN miniPointe is a tiny, agile air cutter specifically designed to produce sharp beam and aerial effects, especially in venues constrained by size. Bright 0 degree parallel beams with glowing colours and static gobo wheel patterns can be multiplied by the innovative Dynamic Flower Effect (DFE), producing different flower-beam shapes that dynamically change in the air. A fine tuned short arc Osram Sirius HRI 140 W RO discharge lamp and optimized optical system help the beam push through haze and fog for high-impact looks in clubs, theaters, houses of worship, touring rigs, and corporate events.

Beam looks built for small and medium venues

miniPointe combines a focused, high-intensity beam with effects that keep aerial looks interesting without requiring a large trim height. The integrated dichroic glass reflector is designed to maximize light efficiency, and the fixture is rated at 400,000 lx at 5 m, supporting strong mid-air definition when used with atmospheric effects.

Color, gobos, and Dynamic Flower Effect (DFE)

Create crisp, graphic beams with a 13-color dichroic wheel plus white, and add texture using a static gobo wheel with 10 gobos plus 3 beam reducers. DFE (patent pending) layers in rotating, shape-shifting aerial patterns to multiply the visual impact from a single fixture, while a separate, variable frost effect allows you to soften the beam when a less aggressive look is needed.

Precise control for programming and repeatability

For accurate cues and consistent positioning, miniPointe provides motorized focus, smooth dimming, and shutter control for full-range dimming and variable strobe effects. A variable beam shaper is indexable and rotatable, and pan and tilt movement covers 540 degrees and 270 degrees with 16-bit resolution. Movement control supports tracking and vector modes for smoother transitions and better pathing in shows.

DMX and RDM integration

Integrate into standard lighting workflows via USITT DMX-512 with RDM support, using 3 DMX protocol modes and 22, 17, or 27 control channels depending on the level of control you need. Addressing and setup are handled through a two-row LCD with four control buttons. For non-console use, the fixture also supports stand-alone operation with 3 editable programs, each up to 40 steps.

Connectivity, power, and service-friendly design

Data connections use 5-pin XLR in/out, and power uses Neutrik PowerCon in/out for tidy rigging. A built-in analyser helps with troubleshooting and fault finding during load-in and maintenance.
