The Color Kinetics ColorBlast TRX is a fully-featured RGBAW LED wash, flood, and spotlight designed for demanding entertainment environments, including theatrical and rental distributors, exhibition houses, theaters, nightclubs, and touring productions. It delivers an enhanced color range and light output of up to 1577 lumens, while offering onboard addressing and configuration features for faster setup and straightforward control.

Expanded RGBAW Color, From Saturated Looks to Clean Whites

Amber and neutral white LEDs blend with red, green, and blue to produce a significantly expanded palette beyond standard RGB fixtures. This makes it easier to achieve intense yellows, high-quality whites, and subtle pastel colors, alongside the millions of saturated colors typical of RGB lighting.

DMX Control Modes and Onboard Configuration

ColorBlast TRX supports five-channel RGBAW in/out, three-channel RGB in/out, and three-channel RGB in mapped to five-channel RGBAW out modes. Adjustable dimming curves and LED transition speeds help emulate the behavior of other Philips Color Kinetics fixtures and conventional theatrical fixtures with DMX dimming, which is especially useful when matching looks across mixed lighting rigs.

Built for Truss, Stage, and Touring Use

Rugged ColorBlast TRX fixtures are engineered to withstand the rigors of stage, set, and touring environments. A constant torque hinge supports 110 degree fixture tilting and aiming, and the pre-assembled mounting base accommodates truss clamps and other mounting and positioning options. For safer overhead deployment, the integral safety bracket lets you easily attach a safety tether.

Diagnostics, Self-Test, and Practical Cabling

A self-test provides a quick visual confirmation of proper fixture operation, and diagnostics display fixture information to speed troubleshooting. Built-in 6 ft (1.8 m) power cables can be extended up to 175 ft (53.3 m) using standard color scroller or XLR patch cables, helping simplify cable runs on stages, truss, and temporary installs.

16-bit resolution supports smooth dimming and precise color control, and touch-sensitive menus provide direct access to onboard functions for quick changes during prep and focus.
