The Pathway PWREP Rack-Mount 8-Port DMX Repeater is an opto-splitter designed for reliable DMX512 distribution in permanent installs, venues, and touring racks. It enables clean star-wiring layouts from a single DMX source while providing electrical isolation to help protect consoles, fixtures, and downstream devices from wiring errors and voltage faults.

DMX Distribution for Star-Wiring Systems

Use the single DMX512 input to feed 8 isolated DMX512 outputs for multiple runs to trusses, dimmer racks, architectural zones, or fixture groups. A passive DMX512 Thru is also provided for extending the incoming line when needed.

Protection and Practical Rack Integration

• No fuses, self-resetting port protection that recovers from voltage faults.
• DMX line termination switch to properly end the DMX chain at the splitter when required.
• Silent, fan-less operation for noise-sensitive control rooms and theatres.
