The JMAZ Lighting Aero Spot 60 is a 60-watt LED moving head spot designed for cable-free, flexible lighting in mobile and installed productions. It combines a color wheel, gobo wheel, motorized focus, and an 8-facet rotating prism in a compact fixture that can run on battery power or AC mains. With over 2 years in development, vigorous testing in various environments, and UL certified battery cells, the Aero Spot 60 is a safe alternative to the traditional plug and play fixtures.

Battery-Powered Freedom with Reliable Runtime

With up to 8 hours of runtime (full power or built-in programs), you can place the fixture where it looks best, not where power happens to be available. The lithium iron battery charges from 0% to 100% in about 5.5 hours, and the fixture supports automatic charging when connected to mains. Integrated battery protection includes short circuit, over-current, and overcharge safeguards, plus temperature detection for operation in environments from -20°C to 45°C.

Wireless DMX Control and Built-In Shows

For DMX workflows, the Aero Spot 60 supports USITT DMX-512 (11 or 13 channels) as well as master-slave, sound activated, and auto operation. The built-in Wi-MAZ wireless DMX technology helps eliminate long DMX runs, and there is an integrated DMX recorder and edit function for quick programming. If you need fast setup without a controller, the fixture includes 9 built-in show modes that can be triggered with the included RF Remote Control, including totem-mode for simple room-filling looks.

Optics, Color, Gobos, and Prism Effects

The 60W cool white (7500K) LED engine is paired with a high-precision glass optic system for a tight 12° beam angle, making it well-suited for defined aerial effects and crisp projections. A color wheel provides 7 colors plus open, and a rotatable gobo wheel includes 6 rotatable, interchangeable gobos plus open. Gobos can be adjusted for speed, stream effects, and clockwise or anticlockwise rotation. Entertain the entire venue with the wide-angle, speed-variable 8-facet rotating prism, ideal for multiplying beams and adding motion across the space.

Movement and Positioning for Repeatable Looks

Precision PAN/TILT control offers 8/16-bit smooth resolution, reversible movement, calibration, scan position memory, and automatic repositioning after unexpected movement. Available movement ranges include 360°/540°/630° PAN and 90°/180°/270° TILT, giving you flexibility for both sweeping room coverage and tight, repeatable cues.

The Aero Spot 60 operates on AC 90-260V (50/60Hz) or battery, with power consumption listed as 190W (state of charge) and 90W (non-charged state). Fan cooling is paired with constant temperature readout and management, and it is rated IP20 for indoor use (maximum ambient temperature -20°C to 50°C). The fixture measures 15.2″ x 15″ x 8.7″ (385 x 380 x 220mm) and weighs 23.4 lb (10.6 kg). Gobo size is 21.8mm (external dimensions) and 14.5mm (inner dimensions).
