The Martin MAC Aura is an LED moving head wash light with zoom and distinctive eye-candy Aura effects. It also functions as a highly capable single-lens wash light with fully pre-mixed color. A ground-breaking optical system combines multicolor LEDs with backlight Aura color mixing to produce a broad visual palette that helps soften the synthetic look sometimes associated with LED sources, supporting more natural-looking stage and event lighting designs.
Performance for Stage and Event Wash Lighting
With 3,850 lumens of output and a 11 to 58° zoom range, the MAC Aura can cover tight beams for punchy looks or open up for wider stage washes. Fast, controllable movement (Pan 540°, Tilt 232°) supports quick position changes, cues, and dynamic effects across a rig.
Color Mixing and Built-In Effects
Beam color mixing uses RGBW, while the Aura (secondary lens array illumination) uses RGB, allowing independent control of the primary output and the Aura for layered looks. Beam color temperature control (CTO, variable 10,000 to 2,500 K) helps match other fixtures or dial in warmer tones. Beam and Aura electronic color-wheel effects provide 33 LEE-referenced colors plus white, including variable-speed rotation and random color effects.
A built-in FX engine includes pre-programmed synchronized and independent beam and Aura FX that can be combined, plus independent electronic shutter effects (regular and random pulse, burst, and strobe). Independent beam and Aura dimming offers four dimming curve options for smoother fades and better camera-friendly control when properly configured.
