Astera’s Wireless PixelBar is a compact, battery-powered linear wash fixture built for fast, flexible lighting setups in touring, corporate events, broadcast, and other on-location productions. With 8 individually addressable pixels and a native 21° beam angle (42° field angle), it delivers controlled, even coverage and lets you create chases, gradients, and pixel-mapped looks along a 50cm line source.
Color, Output, and Rendering
Powered by the Titan LED Engine with RGBMintAmber color mixing, the AX2 PixelBar supports accurate whites and saturated color while maintaining strong color quality across common on-camera and stage color temperatures. Output is rated at 1,800 lumens (2700K), 2,230 lumens (3200K), and 2,265 lumens (5500K), with illuminance up to 11,060 lux at 1m (3200K). For critical work, it delivers high fidelity color with CRI (Ra)/TLCI ≥96 from 3200 to 6500K.
Wireless Control and On-Set Practicality
Control options include IR, app control, and wireless (CRMX) DMX for cable-free placement when fixtures need to move quickly or operate in clean camera frames. The AX2 also supports wired power via PowerCON TRUE1 IN/OUT when you want continuous runtime or daisy-chained power distribution.
