The NEW MA Lighting grandMA3 Processing Unit M is a compact way to expand a grandMA3 lighting control system by 4,096 parameters (HTP/LTP). It is designed for productions that need to scale output and processing in manageable steps, adding more control capacity without changing your existing grandMA3 workflow.

Expandable Processing for grandMA3

Expanding the grandMA3 system is simple with addition of grandMA3 processing units. The grandMA3 processing unit M increases the overall grandMA3 system by 4,096 parameters and enables the system designer to expand the lighting control system in small steps. A powerful CPU supports frame-synchronous calculation to help maintain consistent performance across the system as your show grows.

Mode2 Support for grandMA2 Systems

Besides its role in a grandMA3 system, the unit also offers a Mode2 option to expand existing grandMA2 systems by 4,096 parameters (HTP/LTP), making it a practical bridge for venues and tours running mixed or transitioning setups.

Connectivity and System I/O

For integration into lighting networks and DMX distribution, the unit provides 2 x etherCON/RJ45 network connections and 8 x DMX512-A outputs (5-pin XLR female), plus 3 x USB 2.0 Type-A ports for compatible peripherals and service needs. Power is via 1 x powerCON TRUE1.
