The High End Systems Hog 4-18 Console is built for large-scale lighting control in stadium shows, theme park installations, and concert tours. It embraces the latest technology while retaining the familiar control surface of previous generations, helping experienced Hog programmers work quickly while supporting modern, multi-screen workflows.

Show-Ready Programming Surface

Programmers will power through cueing sessions using multi-touch monitors, high resolution encoders, jog shuttle wheel, LCD keys and motorized faders. Dual 18.5-inch tilt-adjustable multi-touch screens keep palettes, timelines, and visual feedback within easy reach, while the five high-resolution parameter encoders and built-in tri-axis backlit trackball support fast selection and precise parameter control.

Playback Control for Live Performance

For busking, rehearsals, and show playback, the Hog 4-18 provides 10 master playbacks with motorized faders and dedicated master control keys. The motorized faders help maintain clear state awareness when switching pages or loading playback data, making it easier to stay consistent across rehearsals and performance environments.

Scalable Outputs and Network Protocols

Designed to integrate into larger systems, the console supports 8,192 output channels, expandable with DP8K processors. It includes eight Neutrik XLR-5 DMX outputs and supports sACN and Art-Net for distributed DMX-over-Ethernet networks commonly used in touring and installed rigs. Dual EtherCon connections provide dedicated networking for HogNet and FixtureNet, and MIDI In, Out and Thru supports integration with external controllers and show control workflows.

Monitor Expansion and Practical Console Conveniences

In addition to the built-in touch displays, the Hog 4-18 supports up to three external DisplayPort monitors (touch or multitouch), enabling expanded programming layouts for complex rigs. Conveniences such as integrated accessory arm mounts, storage drawers and keyboard, plus dual color surface work lights and reading lights, help keep the workspace organized and usable in dark programming suites or backstage environments.
