The ROBE ColorWash 750AT Tungsten is a 750 W halogen moving-head wash designed for theatre, TV, and architectural applications that require a 3200 K tungsten color temperature. Its uniform beam path helps avoid hotspots, while warm color tones and smooth electronic dimming support camera-friendly fades and stage-ready transitions. For dynamic looks, it provides a 1 to 12 FPS strobe effect, a full CMY + CTB color mixing system, a rotating beam shaper, and a linear zoom from 8° to 45° for everything from tighter punch to broad, even washes.

Optics, Color, and Beam Control

A dichroic glass reflector is used to maximize light efficiency, paired with a 200 mm front Fresnel lens for a soft-edged wash character. The CMY flags (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow) each provide 0 to 100% mixing, and the CTB (0 to 100%) enables cooler correction when matching mixed sources or adjusting on-camera white balance. The indexable beam shaper offers continuous rotation in both directions at different speeds, giving you controllable beam geometry changes without swapping lenses or accessories.

Dimming, Strobe, and Movement

The fixture combines a mechanical dimmer/shutter for full-range dimming and variable strobe effects with an electronic dimmer for fine dimming control. Motorized zoom and 16-bit pan/tilt resolution support accurate focus and repeatable cues, with movement control options including tracking and vector. Pan range is 530° and tilt range is 280° for flexible rigging positions and coverage.

Control, Connectivity, and Addressing

Control is via USITT DMX-512 with RDM support, with selectable 18, 20, 21, or 23 channel modes across five DMX protocol modes. The ROBE Navigation System (RNS) with a blue/white LCD graphic display streamlines setup and addressing. Data connections include locking 3-pin and 5-pin XLR in/out, and an Ethernet port supporting Art-Net (ready for ACN). A built-in analyser assists with troubleshooting and fault finding in the shop or on the road.

Lamp and Physical Specifications

The lamp is a halogen Hi-Bright type with PGJX50 base (approved model: Philips Hi-Bright 750 FastFit), with automatic and remote on/off control. Dimensions are 597 mm (23.5 in) height (head horizontal), 514 mm (20.2 in) width, and 499 mm (19.7 in) depth. Weight is 30.9 kg (68 lb) per fixture.
