The NEW ETC Element 2 (6,144 Outputs) is a lighting control console built for venues that run primarily conventional fixtures but still need the power and flexibility of the Eos family. Hands-On Control for Conventional Rigs

Designed for venues using primarily conventional lighting, the Element 2 control console provides the powerful features of the Eos system in an economical and simplified package. In addition to keypad commands, True LTP Channel Faders provide hands-on control of intensity and can be used to set manual levels and edit recorded cues and submasters. A master playback pair with 100mm faders supports reliable cue playback, while 40 45mm faders with 100 pages give extensive, configurable control for channels, submasters, palette/preset playback, timing, and effect masters.

Supports Accessories and Small Moving Light Systems

Moving Light Controls are available to facilitate the use of conventional accessories like moving mirror heads, color scrollers or gobo rotators, or to make controlling small numbers of moving lights simple and direct. Four discrete palette types (IFCB) plus presets that function as an “all palette” help keep looks consistent, and effects provide dynamic relational and absolute progressive behavior for repeatable motion and intensity behaviors.

Display, Workflow, and Programming Tools

The central information area (CIA) provides access to the browser and key controls, supported by a configurable high-density channel display with format and flexi-channel modes. Element 2 also includes user-definable direct selects and interactive Magic Sheets for building custom, touch-friendly layouts for common looks, groups, and workflows. Color tools include up to six abstract color spaces, along with tinting, spectrum, and fade path tools for more controlled color transitions when using compatible devices.

Networking, Control Capacity, and Integration

Element 2 scales from simple systems to networked installs with 6,144 outputs and 32,768 control channels (any number from 1 - 99,999), supporting up to 99 discrete users with partitioned control. Output and networking options include ETCNet2 and Net3 (powered by ACN), ArtNet and Avab UDP network output protocols, plus two individually configurable Ethernet ports. For synchronization and external control, it supports multiple MIDI and/or SMPTE TimeCode inputs, Analog/Serial inputs, and OSC transmit/recieve. A Virtual Media Server function is available for pixel mapped effects, images, and animations.

Show File Compatibility and Language Support

For smoother upgrades and touring workflows, show import is supported from Obsession, Express, Expression, Emphasis, Congo, Cobalt, Grand MA1, Grand MA2, Safari and Strand 500/300 Series. Multi-language support includes English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional).

Please note that the Element 2 requires Windows 7 compatible monitors. Element 2 cannot integrate into a multi-programming environment with Ion or Eos level desks.
