Description
Spikie is a small, super fast LED WashBeam from Robe that uses a single 60W RGBW light source and a specially designed 110mm wide front lens to produce a solid beam. It quickly zooms from a soft wide 28° wash to a tight, sharp-edged 4° beam, or one of two new stunning air effects.
Fast zoom and beam-shaping for dynamic looks
Built for punchy aerial looks and tight, graphic beams, the motorized zoom and high-speed movement make Spikie well-suited for stages, clubs, houses of worship, and touring rigs where quick transitions matter. A rotating 3-facet circular prism adds multi-beam breakup, while the Flower Effect creates distinctive beam patterns in the air for high-impact moments.
Color control and white tuning
Spikie supports RGBW (CMY) color mixing with variable CTO from 2,700 to 8,000 K for matching warm tungsten looks through cool daylight tones. A virtual color wheel provides 66 preset LEE swatches, 12 Robin BMFL equivalent colors, and 10 user colors, plus color rainbow effects in both directions with variable speed. Tungsten lamp emulation includes whites at 2,700 K and 3,200 K.
Dimming, strobe, and programming options
High-resolution electronic dimming offers smooth 0 to 100% output control, supported by strobe effects up to 20 flashes per second, including pre-programmed random strobe and pulse effects. For standalone use, Spikie includes 6 editable programs (up to 25 steps each).
DMX/RDM integration and precision movement
Designed for professional control systems, Spikie supports USITT DMX-512 and RDM with 2 DMX protocol modes and 21 or 27 control channels. 16-bit pan/tilt resolution, tracking and vector movement control, and 8 or 16-bit control options for RGBW/CMY, zoom, and dimmer help deliver repeatable cues and accurate positioning. Data connections are locking 5-pin XLR, and a built-in analyzer helps simplify troubleshooting.
