Spiider is a superbright next generation LED WashBeam moving head luminaire designed for stages, touring, and installed rigs that need both tight aerial beams and wide, even wash coverage from a single fixture. Using 18x 30 Watt and 1x 60 Watt RGBW LEDs with a highly efficient 12.5:1 zoom (from a tight 4° beam to a wide 50° wash), it delivers a powerful, flexible look that adapts quickly from punchy effects to full-stage color.

Bright output with smooth, accurate color

Rich colors from 19 RGBW multichips create clean, saturated looks and convincing pastels, with velvety smooth fades supported by the internal 18-bit LED dimming system. Spiider also supports RGBW or CMY color mixing, plus variable CTO from 2,700K to 8,000K for matching cameras, house lighting, or mixed fixture rigs. A Virtual Colour Wheel includes 66 preset LEE swatches, and tungsten-style white presets (2,700K and 3,200K) add red shift and thermal delay for classic lamp-like behavior.

Zoom, pixels, and effects for modern looks

The proprietary optical design and high-efficiency zoom make it easy to go from narrow beams for mid-air definition to broad washes for coverage and blending. For dynamic content, individual control of each RGBW pixel supports mapping and chases, with pre-programmed pixel effects including color, dimming, and strobe chases, waves, and pulses with variable speed and direction. The fixture also includes an Innovative Flower Effect (patent pending) with bi-directional rotation at variable speed, plus strobe and pulse effects up to 20 flashes per second, including random strobe options.

Control and networking integration

Dynamic video effects are easily achieved by mapping individual pixels and controlled by DMX desk or media servers via sACN with internal HTP merging, DMX or by Kling-Net protocol. Supported protocols include USITT DMX-512, RDM, Art-Net, MA Net, MA Net2, sACN, and Kling-Net, with 10 DMX protocol modes and multiple channel footprints (including 27, 33, 46, 49, 90, 91, 103, 110, and 122 channels) to fit both simple and advanced programming workflows. Wireless CRMX (Lumen Radio) is available on request.

Rig-friendly operation and service features

Pan and tilt run at 16-bit resolution for precise positioning, with 8- or 16-bit control options for RGBW mixing and dimming (internal 18-bit), plus 8-bit zoom control. Setup and addressing are handled through the ROBE Navigation System 2 (RNS2) with a QVGA Robe touch screen, battery backup, gravitation sensor for auto screen positioning, and an operation memory service log with RTC. Stand-alone operation is supported with three editable programs (up to 100 steps each), and a built-in analyser helps speed up troubleshooting.
