The GLP impression X4 is a compact RGBW LED zoom wash moving head designed for stage, broadcast, and event lighting where you need smooth color mixing, quiet operation, and fast, repeatable positioning. It features 19 high-output RGBW LEDs in a slimline body with no base unit, combining a wide 7 to 50 degree motorized zoom with full color mixing, including CTC, and customizable pixel patterns across the front face.

Color, Output, and Beam Control

With an output of 5,085 lumens and homogeneous RGBW sources, the impression X4 delivers even color mixing across the beam at all zoom angles. Its color palette ranges from soft pastels to deep saturates, and it includes internal color presets, macro effects, and a color calibration feature for consistent looks between fixtures.

Fast, Precise Movement and Dimming Effects

High-precision 3-phase stepping motor control with position feedback supports quick movement cues, with up to 660 degree pan in 2 seconds and 260 degree tilt in 1 second. The shutter/dimmer system provides continuous dimming from 0 to 100%, plus variable strobe effects from 1 to 10 Hz, random strobe, and pulse effects for dynamic accents.

Control, Setup, and Reliability

DMX-512 control is supported, with selectable 8-bit or 16-bit resolution for either streamlined patching or higher-precision fades and movement. A back-lit graphic LCD menu with four illuminated buttons simplifies addressing and configuration. For install and touring use, the unit includes very quiet, temperature-controlled ventilation, over-temperature protection, and an average LED service life of 50,000 hours.

Size and Weight

Measuring 6.5 x 13 x 15 inches (165 mm x 330 mm x 381 mm) in the head-vertical orientation and weighing 16 lbs (7.3 kg), the impression X4 is easy to rig where trim height and space are limited.
