ARRI TRUE BLUE represent an unprecedented evolution of the location fixtures that have been popular workhorses for over two decades. Following extensive research and feedback from lighting professionals around the world, combined with advances in technology, ARRI has designed a series of six highly innovative lampheads with over 30 new improvements for studio and location lighting. ARRI Fresnels are available in both manual and pole-operated versions.

The ARRI True Blue T2 2000W Fresnel in the stand-mounted configuration with a 7-inch Fresnel lens is built for controlled, punchy output with the familiar focusable Fresnel beam that crews rely on for key, fill, and backlight work. It is designed to hold up to daily rental, studio, and on-location use while staying serviceable in the field.

Thermal Management for Long Takes

The Cross Cooling System adds highly effective cooling streams in addition to conventional cooling, helping manage heat during extended operation and in warmer environments.

Rigging and Handling Designed for Real Sets

• Sliding Stirrup for centre of gravity adjusment, making it easier to balance the head on a stand as accessories are added.
• Tilt Lock with a stainless steel friction disc for rigid lock-off, supporting repeatable aiming once the light is set.
• Application-oriented Top Latches for location or studio use.
• Adjustable accessory brackets with 2-scrim and 4-scrim positions, allowing faster light reduction and control without changing the overall setup.

Optics Protection and Durable Light Control

• Stainless steel lens protection for maximised light transmission and high temperature stability.
• Extremely robust barndoors made of special alloy with a high strength-to-weight ratio and an effective tightening function for dependable shaping and cutoff.

Serviceability and Safety Certifications

• Maintenance is streamlined with more shared parts and fast access to interior workings using three torx drivers only.
