NEW Koto Lamp DI-180

Koto Electric is considered to be the pioneer of high-quality specialty lamps for stage, studio and film. The NEW Koto Lamp DI-180 is a double-end metal halide lamp designed for powerful, color-critical lighting where high output and consistent color matter, including large-scale studio, broadcast, and film applications.

Di-Lite metal halide lamps are about 3 times brighter than comparable tungsten-halogen lamps, with lumen efficiency of 85-108 lm per watt. They also generate considerably less heat than tungsten-halogen lamps. These metal halide lamps have a Color Rendering Index of more than 90, making them a great combination of high efficiency and high color rendering for color-critical applications. 

Metal halide lamps require less power consumption than tungsten-halogen lamps, while allowing a smaller fixture size due to their large lumen package per watt. 

Output and Color Performance

The DI-180 is a 225V, 18,000 watt metal halide lamp with 1,650,000Lm, 6,000K temperature, and a 300 hour lifespan. The high lumen output supports long throws and high-intensity applications, while the 6,000K color temperature provides a crisp, daylight-style look that is commonly used for camera and stage environments.

Fit, Form Factor, and Lamp Base Details

It measures 500mm by 73mm. This double end lamp uses a 30x70 cylinder LEAD 165mm. Confirm fixture and ballast compatibility before installation to ensure proper electrical and mechanical fit for 225V metal halide operation.
