NEW Koto Lamp DI-60

The NEW Koto Lamp DI-60 is a high-output metal halide lamp built for demanding stage, studio, and film lighting where brightness, efficiency, and color accuracy matter. Koto Electric is considered to be the pioneer of high-quality specialty lamps for stage, studio and film.

Di-Lite metal halide lamps are about 3 times brighter than comparable tungsten-halogen lamps, with lumen efficiency of 85-108 lm per watt. They also generate considerably less heat than tungsten-halogen lamps. These metal halide lamps have a Color Rendering Index of more than 90, making them a great combination of high efficiency and high color rendering for color-critical applications. 

Metal halide lamps require less power consumption than tungsten-halogen lamps, while allowing a smaller fixture size due to their large lumen package per watt. 

Output and Color Characteristics

The DI-60 is a 125V, 6,000 watt metal halide lamp rated at 570,000Lm with a 6,000K color temperature for a clean, daylight-balanced look. With a 300 hour lifespan, it is designed for applications that prioritize high lumen output and consistent color rendering in professional workflows.

Form Factor and Base

This is a double end lamp measuring 450mm x 53mm. It uses a 25x51 cylinder LEAD 165mm, supporting fixtures designed around this double-ended metal halide format and lead specification.
