NEW Koto Lamp DTY

The NEW Koto Lamp DTY is a 10,000 Watt tungsten halogen specialty lamp designed for high-output stage, studio, film, and television lighting. Built around the halogen cycle, it is intended to help prevent lamp blackening and support consistent performance over the lamp’s rated service life.

The DTY delivers 290,000 lumens at a 3200K color temperature with a 500 hour lifespan, making it a practical choice for productions that need strong, predictable illumination and stable, warm tungsten-balanced color. Its compact filament design supports precise optical control when used with professional fixtures and accessories.

Performance for Production Lighting

Tungsten halogen lamps offer higher efficiency (23 lumens per watt) and a longer life compared to incandescent lamps. Their longer life, whiter light and compact size make them an excellent choice for a large variety of applications. These lamps provide virtually constant color temperature and light output throughout their life, making lamp replacement without any change in color or light quality possible.

Fit and Lamp Base Compatibility

This single-end lamp measures 410mm x 85mm and uses G38 prongs. Verify your fixture’s lamp base and clearance requirements to ensure proper fit, especially in tightly toleranced studio and stage luminaires.
