The Pathway DMX Repeater series of opto-splitters are an essential component of DMX distribution systems, permitting star-wiring configurations while isolating and protecting equipment from electrical faults. Use it to split a single DMX512 universe to multiple device runs, helping keep long cable paths organized, reduce troubleshooting time, and protect consoles, dimmers, and fixtures from issues on the line.

DMX Distribution and Protection

This rack-mount PWREP provides 8 DMX512 outputs from 1 DMX512 input, plus a passive DMX512 thru for straightforward daisy-chain continuation. Each output is optically isolated and designed for reliable distribution in touring racks, venues, and permanent installs where a clean star topology is preferred over long daisy chains.

Installer-Friendly Rack Design

Front panel RJ45 EtherCON connectors keep patching accessible in a rack, and the built-in DMX line termination switch helps you correctly end the line when this unit is the last device on a run. Gold-plated XLR contacts support consistent connections in high-cycle environments, and the unit is silent and fan-less for noise-sensitive control rooms and theatres.
