The NEW Pathway PWPP Pathport Rack Mount DMX Gateway is a central hub for distributing DMX512 and RDM over an Ethernet network, letting you connect lighting consoles and controllers to DMX512-capable fixtures, LEDs, dimmers, and other endpoints across your infrastructure.

DMX/RDM Over Ethernet Distribution

Use the Pathport series to move DMX data efficiently between control and end devices using common DMX-over-Ethernet protocols. This gateway supports Pathway ssACN (Secure sACN), ANSI E1.31 streaming ACN (sACN), Art-Net, Pathport Protocol, ShowNet, and can merge and prioritize different Ethernet protocols as needed.

8 Configurable DMX Ports with Clear Status Feedback

Eight DMX512 ports are individually configurable for direction and can be set as whole universes or as a custom slot-by-slot patch. Status LEDs on each port provide immediate confirmation of DMX activity and direction, helping speed troubleshooting during setup and show operation.

Advanced Patching, Merging, and Fail Behavior

For complex systems, you can map up to eight control sources to each output slot, with user-configurable merge and priority options per source. The gateway supports cross-fading on priority change, along with user-configurable DMX output speed and signal loss behavior for predictable output when a source drops.

Front Panel Configuration and RDM Controller Support

The LCD display and encoder knob allow front panel configuration and reporting of commonly used settings, including IP address and subnet mask, port direction, protocol selection, and basic patching. The unit can act as an E1.20 RDM controller when used with free Pathscape configuration software or ANSI E1.33 RDMnet compliant controllers.

Includes a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet network port and silent, fan-less operation for noise-sensitive environments.
